This is an engaging approach to introducing children to the process of recycling and supply-chain distribution (though it never uses that term, thankfully). The pictures are fun and the author has actually managed to make the production process of plastic interesting. Kids will really enjoy the humorous captions from the bottle himself as he travels through the supply chain.The only real problem I have with this book is that I wish it would have emphasized the importance of recycling. While it is a great overview of the recycling process, I feel that it could have had a "the moral of the story is..." moment to encourage children to both recycle AND reduce their use of plastic bottles in general.
