This book, which came out in 2007, is a cheap, poor-quality paperback reprint, lacking illustrations, of the original edition of this book, which was a beautiful, lavishly illustrated hardcover product, and which came out in 1963. The author, Jay Williams, died in 1978. NOTE: The title of the original 1963 edition did NOT include the words “Warrior Saint.†The title of the original edition of William’s book was simply “Joan of Arc†and that’s all. I, Stephen W. Richey, am the author of the book “Joan of Arc: The Warrior Saint,†readily accessible at this website. My book came out in 2003. It seems to be that Sterling Point Books, when they published their low-grade reprint of William’s book in 2007, stole my phrase “Warrior Saint,†and pasted it onto the title of their reprint. Now, it makes me furious to discover that whenever one does a search for “Joan of Arc The Warrior Saint,†the Sterling Point rip-off of my book is listed above my book. I will take legal action against Sterling Point Books as soon as possible.
