This book states it is for all tests this is a lie this does not prepare you for the national Frontline test not one question on here resembles the Frontline test which is. Onpelety different. It has a video portion and one part we're you write a sample report and one reading part. There is no map we're you have to answer questions no shapes nothing that is in this book it lies and shows it's reputions which is why I brought this over other books because I thought they had a great repution and this book would prepare since they said it for all test what a lie they have left ruined there 75 year reptuiion they are liers go to national fro tline test website and buy there practice test from there site the Frontline test is administered for Washington dc, Maryland l, Virginia etc.
I will say this first. I passed all my written exams. (I applied to three different police departments). So did reading this book help? I'll say yes. But it was more of a refresher read from what I learned in High school. And that was from over 15 years ago. If you are of average to above normal intelligence. Taking a quick read through this book will definitely help reinforce everything you should have learned in grade school. So buy this book and read through the whole thing, just so you have some peace of mind that you actually made an effort towards a very rewarding and life changing career. Good luck!Side note. I also purchased the Norman Hall's police exam preparation book. Buy both. Don't be stingy. Invest in yourself.
Of all the police exams this pretty much encompasses what most of them will test you on, that being said you really don't need a booklet to study but if you want to over prepare like I do this is one of the best out there!
I bought this to help my husband study for the exam and it also has useful essay information! I'm glad I bought this book for him. A good buy!
The answer key in the back of the book doesn't even match the practice exam questions! It's like they either rout in the wrong exam or wrong answer sheet!
