good reminder to check various bearings and seals, but completely ignores the cam chain tensioner problems that have plagued these bikes for years. There are various upgrades at certain years, but no mention of any of it. They don't even mention that you could ask the owner if the bike has been upgraded to the S&S or screamin eagle kit, or if it's still stock. A motor could be about to grenade and you wouldn't be alerted to even ask for upgrade receipts or walk away.
I don't recommend this book, unless you are from the UK. It is written by a limey and all the references are from a British perspective. The prices are in pounds ans then weights are kilos. It has some good information, but I wouldn't buy it again. It discusses rarity and popularity in europe instead of the US.
